Board approves two variances; defers sober-living residence application
Board of Adjustment · Meeting of March 12, 2026
NJ RANDOLPH — Board approves two variances and defers sober-living home dispute. The Board formally adopted resolutions approving a use variance for IL FUTURO, LLC to operate a contractors' yard at 1376 Sussex Turnpike with two prefabricated buildings housing up to eight contractor tenants (5-0 vote), and an amended site plan for QuickChek Corporation to relocate a trash shed at 989 Route 10 West (6-0 vote). Both approvals require subsequent site-plan applications and fee payments within 30 days.
The Board also heard DBEK Renovations LLC's application for a cooperative sober-living residence at 17 Highview Terrace, deferring it to April 9 after public comment raised concerns about parking, drug-testing, and resident restrictions.
