Planning Board approves lot grading permit ordinance change

NJ RANDOLPH — Planning Board backs lot grading permit ordinance on unanimous vote. The Randolph Planning Board voted 9-0 to support Ordinance No. 12-26, which transfers lot grading permit enforcement from the zoning office to engineering and lowers the disturbance threshold to 500 square feet. Planning and Zoning Administrator Darren Carney explained the amendments, which the Board found consistent with the Master Plan.
The Board also continued review of Stonington Development LLC's 100-unit Pulte Homes project at 821 Route 10, which requires variances for height and steep slopes; the application will return June 1 with an extension through June 30.
