Randolph Council Establishes Manager Search Committee

NJ RANDOLPH — Randolph Township Council appoints three-member committee to search for new township manager following Poff's retirement announcement. The committee comprises Councilwoman Carey, Councilwoman Thornton, and Deputy Mayor Nisivoccia, with Mayor Forstenhausler substituting for Deputy Mayor Nisivoccia during search organization selection due to a conflict of interest. The council also unanimously approved Ordinance 15-26 on first reading, appropriating $90,000: $42,000 for Randolph Lake improvements and $48,000 for police mobile cameras.
Final passage of Ordinances 13-26 and 14-26 and approval of 15 combined resolutions completed the business. Randolph received the 2025 Morris County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund Safety Award, the fund's highest honor, reflecting a three-year Lost Time Accident Frequency average of 0.98, below the 1.22 fund-wide average.
